The website describes Building 8's services and offers some free tools: a Data & AI Readiness Assessment, an ROI Calculator and the Process Hunter game. You may use the website and its tools for your own business purposes and for evaluating whether to work with us.

The assessment, calculator and game produce results from the information you enter and from general assumptions we have made. They are intended to start a conversation, not to replace one. They are not financial, legal or technical advice, and you should not make decisions on them without checking the figures against your own situation. If you would like us to look at your numbers properly, get in touch.

You agree not to:

• use the website in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights;
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its database or the systems behind it;
• use automated tools to scrape, copy or overload the website, beyond the ordinary indexing done by search engines and AI assistants;
• submit information that is false, misleading or that you do not have the right to share; or
• interfere with the operation of the website or its security features.

Information you submit through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that anything you submit is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it. By submitting a message or enquiry you allow us to use it to respond to you and to follow up.

The content of the website, including its text, graphics, logos, articles, tools and software, belongs to Building 8 or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may view and print pages for your own use and share links to them. You may not reproduce, adapt or republish content commercially without our written permission. The Building 8 and Alloy names and logos are our trade marks.

The website links to other organisations' sites, including our partners and the platforms our articles refer to. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your information.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to section 7, the website and its tools are provided as they are. We take care with the content but do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the website will always be available. To the extent the law allows, Building 8 is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the website, its tools or its content, including indirect or consequential loss and loss of profit or business.

We may change these terms and the website at any time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the date at the top will be updated. If you keep using the website after a change, you accept the changed terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute about them will be dealt with in the courts of New South Wales.
